Job summary

nVent is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, install, and repair production and facility equipment on Site Georgia manufacturing operations. The role involves preventive maintenance, equipment diagnostics, and coordinating materials while ensuring safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience, and familiarity with basic business processes and computer applications for recording work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with computers and applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as defined on equipment.
• Repair and maintain all production equipment as needed.
• Maintain spare parts for repairs and PM.
• Move, anchor, and align machines as requested.
• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and implement repairs.
• Perform emergency repairs to limit downtime.
• Lubricate and service production machinery.
• Assist in building equipment parts per work orders.
• Assist in coordinating material requisitions for projects.
• Observe safety rules and report hazards.
• Notify supervisors of problems.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
