Job summary

VT Industries, Inc. is seeking a Dedicated Maintenance Technician I to troubleshoot and repair production equipment across electrical, PLC/control, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing/building systems.

You will work in a designated plant area, perform daily inspections, and write/work orders to maintain uptime. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical circuits, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and ladder logic, with a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing maintenance and 2 years on

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience on mechanical/electrical equipment (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting)
• Understanding of electrical circuits and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
• Over-time as required
• Attend and be punctual
• Able to work weekends if necessary
• Valid driver’s license
• PLC & Welding skills are a plus
• Adhere to VT Industries’ Code of Conduct and Attendance Policy

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems/breakdowns on production equipment and perform proper repairs
• Complete daily inspections and write work orders
• Locate parts and submit purchase orders as needed
• Communicate machine issues to operators and supervisors
• Work on assigned work orders and prep/organize parts
• Learn MP2 navigation and use for inventory/work orders/on-site requests
• Complete daily paperwork for walk-throughs/breakdowns/work orders
• Collaborate with team and communicate via shift pass-downs
• Follow VT safety policies including LOTO and restricted space procedures
• Be proficient with shop tools and equipment, and work from ladders with safety harness
• Assist in other areas as needed
• Participate in daily team meetings
