Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the continued operation of production machinery and the physical plant in compliance with state, federal, and company policies. The technician reports to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities include developing a preventive maintenance program, managing daily maintenance operations, coordinating with the team, and participating in staff training while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical field.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Able to work independently as well as in-group settings.
• Strategic thinker.

Responsibilities

• Develops, schedules and controls a preventative maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment.
• Daily maintenance operations of the facility.
• Reports to the Production Manager on issues and assists in directing maintenance staff.
• On-call to assist with maintenance needs.
• Coordinate activities of maintenance staff and assist in training.
