Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the repair and overhaul of production and service equipment. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves executing tasks with attention to safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

You will document work performed, track maintenance work orders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment and production issues while optimizing material use and minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• Advanced troublehsooting of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and process systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, automation and extrusion processes.
• Fabricate or repair parts using in-house equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and overhaul production and service equipment.
• Document work performed and update maintenance work orders (MWOs).
• Collaborate with maintenance, process and production on issue resolution.
• Monitor parts usage and minimize waste to reduce downtime.
• Lead internal/external resources for project execution.
• Uphold safety and housekeeping standards and drive safety initiatives.
