Job summary
Amcor in Pauls Valley, OK is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support our manufacturing operation. You will troubleshoot, repair and improve production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient plant operation.
Responsibilities include leading safety initiatives, assessing needs, estimating costs, modifying equipment to boost productivity, training operators, and preparing engineering documents for projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
- Determines plant needs by identifying problems and defining project scope.
- Researches and provides cost estimates for repairs and replacement equipment.
- Initiates equipment modifications to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoots Electrical, Mechanical and Process issues for rapid recovery.
- Trains operators on operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Prepares engineering packages including designs, layouts and manuals.
- Provides purchasing support: vendors, POs, negotiations, expediting.
- Improves safety, productivity and profitability of manufacturing ops.
