Job summary

TPC is seeking a Production Engineer to manage engineering support for a specific product or group of products, driving efficiency and reliability across the unit. The role emphasizes safety, environmental performance, and continuous improvement within the plant, with visibility across multiple functional groups.

Responsibilities include leading technical troubleshooting, monitoring KPIs, supporting PSM/compliance, and coordinating with design, process, and reliability teams to solve problems

Qualifications

• Completed undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 4+ years of Manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ASPEN and data historian tools.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support for a specific product or group of products.
• Leads engineering troubleshooting to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitors KPIs and KOPs to track unit performance.
• Develops MSDR and OSR to lead performance improvement.
• Collaborates with Process Control to maintain DCS code and data.
• Identifies EH&S risks and conducts root cause analyses.
• Tracks regulatory compliance and emission calculations.
• Communicates technical information to plant personnel.
• Evaluates feasibility and economics of proposed projects.
• Supports projects through all phases and ensures proper execution.
• Drives MOCs to address process safety risks.
• Participates in PHA teams and provides input on process safety.
• Interfaces with Production Planning to ensure feasible production plans.
• Acts as primary contact for maintaining unit PSI.
• Supports commissioning during outages and is available for after-hours.
