Job summary

LG Energy Solution in Holland, MI is seeking an Engineer I, Production to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams to improve yield, OEE, and process stability.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Production, Quality, Equipment, and Maintenance, along with ensuring compliance, SOP updates, and accurate documentation on a standard schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 0–3 years of manufacturing, production engineering, process engineering, or related experience.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing problems and support development and implementation of corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations to ensure alignment with production and shipment plans.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with cross-functional teams to improve performance.
• Monitor production performance metrics (yield, OEE, output, quality).
• Identify root causes of abnormalities and drive corrective actions.
• Review NCRs and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production docs.
• Train team members on new or revised processes and requirements.
• Communicate risks and delays to stakeholders.
