Job summary

Fontaine Modification Company in Denton, TX is seeking a Production Engineer to support the production team in the design and development of processes and components, including final vehicle CG and driveline calculations. Projects must meet time and budget constraints with clear BOMs and drawings.

You will provide production support, drive process improvements for safety and efficiency, and prepare design time estimates for internal quotations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years in product design, process development, and manufacturing support.
• Experience in commercial truck engineering preferred.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support, including troubleshooting electrical/diagnostic systems.
• Drive process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Create designs that meet customer needs and regulatory codes.
• Support sales quotations with estimates for design time, labor, tooling, and materials.
