Job summary

Fontaine Modification Company, a Marmon Holdings unit, is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to drive quote-to-delivery for truck upfits. Based in Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC, the role blends commercial execution with technical coordination across sales, engineering, purchasing, and production.

You will translate customer needs into executable proposals, manage quotes and orders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with OEMs, dealers, fleets and body companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years in inside sales, customer service, or related field.
• Experience with commercial vehicles or upfits preferred.
• Ability to translate requirements into accurate quotations.
• Strong communication and coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own opportunities from request to quotation and delivery.
• Develop accurate quotations by gathering requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and operations.
• Maintain opportunity data in ERP/CRM systems.
• Support forecast visibility and quote conversion.
