Job summary

Fontaine Modification Company, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Production Engineer to support design and development of production processes and components for heavy truck applications. Responsibilities include creating assembly instructions, BOMs, drawings, and calculations to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a solid CAD background, experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to travel up to 20% for project needs.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/equivalent).
4+ years of engineering experience in product design, process development, and manufacturing support.
Experience in or related to the commercial truck engineering field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide production support, including troubleshooting electrical/diagnostic systems of trucks.
Focus on process improvements to increase safety and efficiency.
Create and follow designs that meet customer needs and regulations including FMVSS/CMVSS.
