Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Test Lead to own the production electrical test strategy for a high-rate assembly line. You will lead a team of technicians and test engineers, drive throughput while preserving quality, and serve as the main interface among test, design, manufacturing, and mission assurance.

You will own procedures, calibration, and scripts, push automation, and coordinate with internal groups to disposition anomalies and ensure coverage of critical parameters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in electrical test with at least 2 years in lead or supervisory role.
• Experience leading electrical test in high-rate production environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day electrical test operations across production vehicles and testing phases.
• Own test procedures, calibration plans, and test scripts for production.
• Drive test flow improvements to reduce cycle time while maintaining coverage.
• Manage a team of test technicians and engineers; mentor and assign work.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Systems Eng, and Mission Assurance on anomalies.
• Report status and metrics such as first-pass yield and throughput.
• Identify test automation opportunities to reduce manual effort.
• Own GSE suite maintenance, calibration, and configuration control.
• Support root cause analysis and design-for-test feedback.
