Job description

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Department Assistant.

The primary responsibilities include providing support to production and scheduling through data entry and job entry processes, ensuring reorder points are constantly reviewed.

Additional Duties:
  1. Enter job orders into ERP systems based on customer purchase order requirements.
  2. Maintain and monitor WIP and FG reorder points for changes in quantities; analyze trends based on recent usage and sales forecasts. Provide management with recommendations regarding reorder points.
  3. Print job packets and bar codes for scheduled orders.
  4. Maintain label makers and ensure supplies are stocked.
  5. Support the Production Manager and Scheduler as needed.
  6. Review and recommend improvements to job packet printing contents.
  7. Support daily operations of the lead production subgroup related to order workload coordination.
  8. Perform other duties as requested or assigned, including work in other manufacturing areas as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior admin/office experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, strong math skills, and good planning, organizational, time, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand departmental operations and procedures; reliable attendance.
  • Knowledge of office equipment and software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret instructions.

Position details: Full-time, daylight hours, Monday-Friday, 6:15 AM - 2:45 PM.
