Job summary

Colonial Group in Union City, CA is seeking a Production Cutter to prepare specialty cuts of meat quickly and accurately to meet customer expectations.

You will select products from pick tickets, cut to specifications, weigh and stage for packaging, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of experience; pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour, with compliance to HACCP/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months of experience in food production or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select products from pick tickets and stage for production.
• Cut product to meet customer specifications.
• Transport finished product to packaging line using carts.
• Weigh product to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Replenish stock as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Handle product properly and report damage immediately.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to HACCP, OSHA and GMP guidelines.

Position Summary: As a key member of our rapidly growing organization, the Production Cutter contributes to our success by preparing specialty cuts of meat in a timely and efficient manner to meet our customer’sexpectations.

What you’ll do:

• Select products from pick tickets and stage for production
• Cut product to meet customer specifications
• Transport finished product to appropriate packaging line utilizing carts
• Weigh product to ensure compliance with customer/company specifications
• Replenish stock as needed
• Maintain work area clean and orderly
• Must maintain product integrity with proper handling & report damage to management immediately
• Must follow all company policies and procedures
• Follow all federal, state and local HACCP, OSHA & GMP guidelines

About you:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 months experience

Pay Range - $19-$24/HR.
