Job summary

Voyant Beauty is seeking a Production Coordinator to oversee day-to-day production floor activities and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse and Compounding to ensure smooth operations. The role focuses on maintaining throughput, line startup verification, and timely task completion.

You will monitor schedules, optimize resource allocation, troubleshoot issues, and analyze data to drive improvements while ensuring safety and compliance within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to monitor and communicate across multiple departments.
• Knowledge of basic math and quality control principles.
• Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory flow.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shift activities; provide instruction to line leads and personnel, ensure lines run at rate with correct headcount.
• Facilitate communication between departments for synchronized operations.
• Monitor quality control measures to uphold manufacturing standards.
• Verify line startups, including line balances, bulk and component issuing, and quality clearance.
• Serve as backup to the Production Supervisor.
• Manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate resource allocation to maintain optimal production efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data to identify areas of improvement.
• Verifications and sign off on batch record processes.
• Execute reworks due to NCMRs issued by quality.
• Review production boards hourly and address issues on packaging lines.
• Facilitate material flow through production; coordinate component acquisitions and line returns.
• Some duties may vary slightly by location.
