Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report to work reliably and punctually for each scheduled shift.
• Participate in safety meetings and shift communications.
• Review daily work schedule and verify the number of employees reporting for work.
• Notify supervisor of staffing discrepancies or scheduling adjustments.
• Monitor dress code, PPE, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Provide supervisors with absences, call-offs, and no-call/no-show records.
• Receive and document employee call-offs.
• Answer calls outside regular hours and route emergency calls as needed.
• Record break times and ensure prompt return to workstations.
• Maintain daily attendance records as required.
• Provide blank PTO, disciplinary, and incident forms when needed.
• Assist or cover the QC/Trainer position when necessary.
• Observe product and packaging quality throughout the shift.
• Remove or separate defective products and notify inspectors or supervisors.
• Follow all safety policies and workplace rules.
• Complete additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Enter production information into Macola and print reports and labels.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for tracking employee attendance and break times, entering production and inventory information, printing labels and production documents, monitoring basic product quality, and assisting supervisors with shift-related administrative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or assembly experience, basic computer skills, strong communication abilities, and the confidence to work with both production employees and supervisors.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Report to work reliably, punctually, and prepared for each scheduled shift.
• Participate in all required workplace safety meetings, training, and shift communications.
• Review the daily work schedule and verify the number of employees reporting for work.
• Notify the supervisor of staffing discrepancies or scheduling adjustments.
• Monitor employee compliance with dress code, footwear, jewelry, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Provide supervisors with a list of employee absences, call-offs, and no-call/no-show occurrences.
• Receive and document employee call-offs.
• Answer incoming calls outside regular business hours and appropriately route emergency calls.
• Record employee break departure and return times and help ensure employees return to their workstations promptly.
• Maintain daily attendance records as required.
• Provide supervisors with blank PTO, disciplinary, and accident investigation forms when needed.
• Assist or provide coverage for the Quality Control/Trainer position when necessary.
• Observe product and packaging quality throughout the shift.
• Remove or separate defective or questionable products and notify the appropriate inspector or supervisor.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and workplace rules.
• Complete additional duties and assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Production and Inventory Responsibilities

• Obtain production information from the QC/Trainer and enter it into the Macola system.
• Print production reports and review production efficiency information with the supervisor.
• Print labels required for the assigned shift.
• Enter component production information into Macola to release raw materials.
• Print master item sheets for posting at individual machines.
• Maintain an accurate and current master item book when assigned.
• Complete material and inventory adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Basic computer, calculator, and data-entry skills.
• Ability to learn and use Macola, Access, and other production-related systems.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing attendance, dress code, quality, and safety expectations.
• Ability to understand packaging and assembly processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
• Ability to organize information accurately and maintain confidential employee records.
• Willingness to assist in production or quality-related functions when necessary.
