Job summary

Gourmet Home Products based in New York, NY, is seeking a Production Assistant to provide operational support to the Head of Production. This role involves managing supplier orders, coordinating production details, and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to the Head of Production.
• Review each supplier's open orders daily to ensure smooth order process.
• Send POs received from the data entry team to suppliers once Buying team approves.
• Approve artwork and carton markings of POs prior to factory printing.
• Complete business recaps with direction from the Head of Production.
• Follow production status of all orders with suppliers, updating the system.
• Ensure suppliers book POs with correct freight forwarders for on-time delivery.

• Review each suppliers open orders on a daily basis to ensure smooth order process.
• Send POs received from data entry team to suppliers once Buying team approves.
• Approve artwork and carton markings of POs prior to factory printing of mass production.
• Complete business recaps with the direction from the Head of Production.
• Follow production status of all orders with suppliers, updating the system accordingly.
• Ensure all suppliers book POs with correct freight forwarders for on time delivery.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 annually, contingent upon experience and expertise.
