Job description

Our company is a global sourcing company that specializes in the manufacturing and sales of activewear and sportswear. We are looking for a full-time Production Coordinator who would want a fast‑paced, multitasking, organized, detail‑oriented person to join our team.

Position Purpose and Scope

This position is responsible for ensuring orders are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive time and action calendars and expedite to management accordingly
  • Communicate daily with all vendors and agents regarding the status of samples and bulk deliveries
  • Issue and update all purchase orders within the ERP program
  • Create an order sheet and WIP to follow up the order
  • Organize and track all order details (lead/delivery, trims, fabric, samples) within an Excel chart to retain updated detail status
  • Review all submissions with management to release submission comments overseas
  • Maintain perfect communication and computer skills
  • Collaborate with related departments, especially the Costco sales team
  • Keep a constant flow of communication with factories and team members
  • Arrange QC for actual products from production
  • Understand planning for the production environment
  • Prepare and send packages to overseas factories and buyers
  • Communicate with buyers to meet all requirements
  • Ensure shipment bookings and shipping documents are submitted on time overseas
  • Track containers to be delivered to warehouses on time
  • Review all shipping documents prior to passing to logistics
  • Train and mentor assistants and associates
Job Requirements
  • Experience with Costco production across multiple regions (Canada, Mexico, USA, Australia, Asia) is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design, merchandising, apparel production or equivalent industry experience
  • Over 5 years of production experience, Costco experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel at an expert level, and skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and follow‑up skills
  • Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple teams
  • Self‑motivated and self‑directed with a continuous desire to learn and grow
  • Proactive problem solver who can troubleshoot and elevate issues effectively
  • Fluent in English
  • Must have responsibility for work and follow directions
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.A.
