Job description

Our client, a leading consumer goods company with a portfolio of well-known licensed brands, is seeking an Associate Production Coordinator to join their team full-time in New Jersey! Their product assortment spans categories including kitchen textiles, housewares, health & beauty, baby, and pet, and can be found in major retailers across the U.S. and internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Support production operations from order creation through shipment, maintaining accurate data entry and database updates
• Track and manage purchase orders, sample orders, and packaging approvals, ensuring timely execution and follow-up
• Maintain up-to-date costing and product specification records by partnering with product development and overseas teams
• Coordinate ticket ordering and ensure proper labeling is aligned with production timelines
• Manage customer portals to ensure timely setup and asset uploads (images, samples, etc.)
• Organize and oversee physical product samples, maintaining clear records and system tracking
• Review and approve packaging layouts and samples for quality, color accuracy, and licensor compliance
• Support general office organization and sample coordination

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in production coordination or a similar operational support role
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and data management
• Basic math skills and ability to analyze order details and cost breakdowns
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills across internal and external teams
• Experience with customer portals or retail-facing platforms a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel especially)
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Based in New Jersey
