We operate in a fast-paced environment where fashion meets efficiency, and we’re seeking a highly organized and experienced Import Production Coordinator to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Import Production Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end production process for our Ladies imported apparel goods. This includes Style and PO Entry, coordinating with overseas factories, ensuring production timelines are met, monitoring quality standards, and facilitating on-time delivery to our distribution centers. The ideal candidate has deep experience in apparel production, understands the nuances of international trade, and thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full import production cycle from PO and Style issuance to final delivery.
• Liaise daily with overseas factories (primarily in Asia or other key sourcing regions) to track production timelines, resolve issues, and confirm delivery schedules.
• Manage and coordinate all samples (Proto, Approval (PP), Photoshoot, and Shipment (TOP).
• Review tech packs, samples, and lab dips for accuracy and ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Enter Styles and Purchase orders in the company ERP.
• Communicate approvals for pre-production samples, TOPs (Top of Production), and bulk shipments.
• Track production milestones and proactively identify and resolve delays.
• Collaborate with the design, merchandising, and logistics teams to align on production specs, ship windows, and delivery requirements.
• Ensure all import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, etc.) is complete and compliant.
• Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to coordinate timely shipments and customs clearance.
• Maintain accurate records of all production activity, timelines, and correspondence.
• Partner with QA to handle quality inspections and any corrective actions.
• Support costing and margin maintenance by monitoring vendor quotes and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in import production coordination in the fashion/apparel industry, preferably streetwear or fast fashion.
• Strong knowledge of apparel construction, factory workflow, and global production timelines.
• Familiarity with import/export regulations, documentation, and customs processes.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and PLM software (NetSuite or A2000 experience is a plus).
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple styles, vendors, and deliveries simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable dealing with overseas partners.
• Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Preferred

• Experience working with factories in China, Bangladesh, or Vietnam.
• Background in wholesale apparel for men’s and women’s streetwear.
• Experience coordinating testing and compliance (e.g., CPSIA, Prop 65).
