What You Can Expect

This position works closely with all members of the Operations management team towards achieving delivery performance goals and objectives. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of the ERP system are required, as the position will interact daily with area managers, supervisors, engineers, production planners, and other operations team members as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include the creation of outside processing purchase orders, coordinating work order creations, tracking operation transactions, performing cycle counts, and other production support activities as required.

How You'll Create Impact
  • Develop and maintain daily production schedules based on planner and management input.
  • Print daily production work orders and coordinate priority communications as needed.
  • Perform maintenance to work orders including adding operations, rework orders, etc.
  • Troubleshoot router issues as appropriate.
  • Participate in weekly production planning scheduling meetings.
  • Complete inventory control activities and cycle counting as required.
  • Support other Operations needs as requested. This may include performing receiving and scanning functions, requested cycle count processing, inspection of vended parts, and working with creation and preparation of shipping invoices for customer shipments.

  • Must be a self-starter with ability to complete tasks with minimal instructions
  • Must be able to assist manufacturing when situations arise where more resources are needed and perform tasks as assigned, including running production.
  • Must demonstrate good time management and planning skills to organize, prioritize and balance workload.
  • Must have the ability to make suggestions for improvements on general processes (relating to own work, products, and department)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex systems to people of various backgrounds
  • Superior levels of accuracy, and good send of urgency
  • Experience necessary to train personnel for various positions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, purchase and work order creations, and cycle counting
Your Background
  • High school diploma or GED required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a work-related area.
