Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a cook.
• Ability to adapt to different roles to ensure service, safety, and sanitation.
• Understand and apply rotation principles and food safety standards.
• Maintain clean equipment and a safe, organized kitchen environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated and able to work with the team to satisfy guests.
• Capable of opening and closing the kitchen with checks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, courteous, and professional service to Guests.
• Prepare, cook, heat, and serve all menu components following Plum Market standards.
• Maintain the hot bar during lunch service, ensuring freshness and proper rotation.
• Perform all food safety and sanitation tasks, including daily checks and logs.
• Demonstrate knife skills, portion control, and recipe execution.
• Receive deliveries, stock shelves and coolers, rotate products accordingly.
• Assist with catering orders and deliveries as directed by the Manager.
• Support other stations as needed (Sandwich and Salad).
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen areas, equipment, and floors clean and in good condition.
• Sweep and mop floors daily to uphold sanitation and safety.
• Report needs or issues to Leadership promptly.
• Uphold Plum Market Foodservice policies and SOPs.
