Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs in Los Angeles is hiring a Third Production Cook for a full-time permanent role. You will prepare products for airline, e-commerce, and retail clients, with a pay rate of $25.00 to $32.65 per hour and access to a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

Candidates must be available any day, lift 25-30 pounds, work in cold and hot areas, and comply with HACCP procedures. Prior 4–5 years in a high-volume kitchen and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years’ experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work hours required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
• Understands and complies with HACCP procedures including proper temp controls and paperwork.
• Mass produces basic foods including steaming, poaching, braising and pan frying.
• Prepares food based on a pre-determined production level.
• Inventories supply and requisitions the proper amount of supplies on a pre-determined production level.
