Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs in Los Angeles is hiring a Third Production Cook for a full-time permanent role. You will prepare products for airline, e-commerce, and retail clients, with a pay rate of $25.00 to $32.65 per hour and access to a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

Candidates must be available any day, lift 25-30 pounds, work in cold and hot areas, and comply with HACCP procedures. Prior 4–5 years in a high-volume kitchen and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years’ experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work hours required for the position.

Responsibilities

3rd Production Cook Hiring Immediately! Pay Rate: $25.00 up to $32.65 without Medical Insurance. Candidates must be available to work any day of the week.

LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the world’s leading provider of end-to-end airline products and services with a fast-growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
• Understands and complies with HACCP procedures which includes proper temp controls and completing the necessary paperwork.

Job Skills or Qualifications

• Must be able to work in refrigerated and hot areas.
• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen.
• Be able to stand for the full duration of the shift.
• Be available to work in a 38-degree cold room, only when necessary.
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world.
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; this is a 24 hour operation, 7 days a week.

Additional eligibility requirements and details

• This is a Union Position - must be willing to pay union dues after 14 days.
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8-12 hours a day.
