Job summary

Cirrus is seeking a Production Controller in Duluth, MN to partner with Supervisors and the Line Support Team (LST) to optimize production planning, material flow, and KPI reporting. This role focuses on capacity analysis, ERP monitoring, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field or CPIM certification or 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications.
• Efficient in record keeping and preparation of reports; capable of reviewing others' work for accuracy and standards Conformity.
• Strong communications skills and excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Supply Chain function within Line Support Team (LST) to ensure parts are delivered to Point of Use on time to meet operational needs.
• Measures linearity performance to the daily rate and reports at LST standup meetings; ensures recovery plans meet downstream needs.
• Ensures production line is supplied with material to move the line on time and with high quality; visual inspection of RIP health and coverage for absences.
• Responds to line-stopping shortages by collaborating with purchasing and materials teams to supply needed parts quickly.
• Leads Kanban standards across the assigned area and drives root cause analysis for shortages and variances.
• Schedules and sequences work orders daily to meet production schedules per COS Principles and Windchill/UKG SOPs.
• Maintains ERP data with correct lead times, stocking quantities, and Kanban locations; coordinates Aftermarket parts manufacturing to meet work orders.
• Lead cross-training and CI projects; document standards; follow audit schedules; train new members; provide feedback and continuous training.
