Job summary

Johnson Controls in Texas is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to manage inventory, assure material availability for on-time production, and help ensure product quality. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal suppliers and data-driven decision-making to minimize shortages and delays.

You will generate daily reports, monitor material availability metrics, and maintain the Plan for Every Part within the materials control system, contributing to smooth manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Excel.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates on time delivery of material as well as production schedule adherence.
• Communication, on behalf of the Production Control team, with internal suppliers to confirm material deliveries.
• Provide detailed analysis on anticipated shortages and corrective actions taken to minimize impact.
• Create and provide daily reports to project materials availability and reduce negative impacts of lack of materials.
• Update, maintain, and distribute metrics relating to material availability.
• Maintain the Plan for Every Part in the materials control database, withdrawal, and production Kanban’s.
