Job summary

System One is seeking a Production Control Specialist III for a contract onsite role in Cape Canaveral, FL. The C Shift runs Friday to Sunday, 5am–5pm.

You will drive backlog reduction, expedite critical jobs, and maintain ERP/MRP data integrity while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have hands-on ERP/MRP experience (SAP/Costpoint), the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting, and a willingness to cover off-nominal shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with schedule management, expediting, or backlog data clean-up in manufacturing.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Costpoint, or similar).
• Ability to work independently in a high-tempo environment.
• Willingness to support off-nominal shifts as needed.
• Backlog remediation and data cleanup experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive down the work-order backlog by dispositioning idle/no-date orders.
• Expedite hot jobs and identify material/kit needs to prevent delays.
• Provide off-nominal shift coverage and handle escalations.
• Maintain MRP/ERP data integrity.
• Communicate daily backlog status and hand-offs to PC leads.
• Flag blockers to area leads and leadership to preserve signal.
• Partner with the FTE PC team and own standing work-center tasks.
• When backlog is clear, support other work centers with minimal debt.
