Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Production Control Specialist on a contract, onsite basis at Cape Canaveral, FL. The role focuses on clearing backlog, expediting hot jobs, and maintaining MRP data integrity to support rate production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ERP/MRP experience (SAP/Costpoint), a proactive mindset, and flexibility to cover B/C/D shifts as needed to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Experience with backlog remediation and data cleanup in manufacturing or production settings.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP work in SAP or Costpoint, not just dashboards.
• Ability to operate independently in a high-tempo environment and support off-nominal shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive down the work-order backlog by dispositioning idle orders and closing them.
• Execute targeted expedite efforts on hot jobs and identify material needs.
• Provide off-nominal shift coverage and maintain MRP/ERP data integrity.
• Communicate daily backlog status and shift hand-offs to PC leads.
