Job summary

FIS is seeking a production scheduling specialist to coordinate capacity across multiple lines, ensuring on-time delivery and SLA adherence.

You will gather data, model capacity, and forecast resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and respond to changing demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant production planning or scheduling experience.
• Experience in work sequencing and capacity planning.
• Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes production information to model daily capacity and forecast resources.
• Schedules by department and machine to minimize SLA conflicts and optimize multiple jobs.
• Monitors workflow and communicates status to leadership with potential timing solutions.
• Assists in compiling production data for internal and external customers.
• Recommends staffing and overtime to improve production efficiency.
