Job summary

FIS is seeking a production scheduling professional to plan and coordinate workflows across multiple client projects, using forecasting and capacity modeling to meet SLA commitments. You will monitor production loads, optimize machine utilization, and report performance to leadership.

You will attend daily scheduling meetings, arrange department and machine level schedules, and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of related experience.
• 4+ years in work sequencing and scheduling.
• Lean/Six Sigma exposure preferred.
• Experience with production machinery and process modeling.

Responsibilities

• Model daily production and forecast resourcing.
• Attend scheduling meetings and assign department/machine work.
• Monitor systems to ensure on-time work and SLA adherence.
• Communicate status to leadership and propose solutions.
• Compile production data for internal and client reporting.
• Identify cost savings and failure causes from process data.
• Recommend staffing and overtime to improve efficiency.
