Job summary

FIS is seeking a Production Scheduler to optimize workflow, plan production activity, and ensure adherence to internal and client SLAs. You will model capacity, forecast workload, and coordinate multi-job schedules across the production line.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with work sequencing, and the ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams. Shift: Wednesday–Friday and every other Tuesday from 4:45 pm to 4:00 am; location is Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 6 years of relevant training/experience in lieu of degree.
• Typically minimum 4 years relevant experience.
• Experience in work sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes information from processes to model daily production and forecast resourcing requirements.
• Performs complex modeling to develop operational capacity.
• Attends daily scheduling meetings to determine machine workflow assignments.
• Assigns and coordinates schedules by department and machine to minimize SLA conflicts.
• Monitors systems to ensure work is on pace to meet client SLAs.
• Communicates status to leadership and proposes solutions.
• Compiles and submits production information to customers.
• Analyzes data to identify cost savings and failure data.
