Job summary

Laitram LLC seeks a dynamic Production Control Supervisor to lead a 6–8 person team responsible for accurate and timely processing of customer orders, production scheduling, and capacity planning. This role drives on-time delivery and continuous improvement across operations in our Louisiana facility.

You will analyze production workflows, manage a dynamic schedule, and collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and inventory to optimize throughput, lead times, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing, project management, or customer service leadership.
• At least 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle preferred; strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills with track record of executing initiatives.
• Structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Production Control team to ensure timely and accurate order processing, scheduling, and fulfillment.
• Analyze workflows and capacity to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven improvements.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and inventory to improve order flow and prioritization.
• Develop and maintain a dynamic production schedule aligned with demand and constraints.
• Establish supplier partnerships to enhance flexibility and in-house manufacturing.
