Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America in Columbus, Indiana, is offering a Production Control Intern position for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in production control, supply chain management and project management while collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and Design Engineering teams.

You’ll build practical skills by creating PowerBI dashboards, automating processes, and supporting model launch activities as part of a mentored, early-career team.

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0.
• Enrolled in a degree in Supply Chain Management or Project Management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable with Excel and data analytics.
• Experience using PowerBI is a plus.
• Commitment to onsite availability in Columbus, IN Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop new tools for Scheduling/ National Accounts to automate processes.
• Visualize data to measure KPI and create PowerBI boards.
• Create template for model launch activities.
• Paper reduction activities.
• Evaluate and improve TDR processes and visualization.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Design Engineering and Plant Engineering.
• Work with a team of young professionals.
