Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is offering a Manufacturing Analyst Intern position in Columbus, IN for Summer 2027. This in-person role supports the Operations Planning team by analyzing the Operation Plan, forecasting manpower and model mix, and identifying process improvements.

You will collaborate with Operations, Production Control, IE, and leadership to develop data-driven recommendations. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a related bachelor’s or master’s program with strong Excel

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in a related field.
GPA of at least 3.0.
Strong Excel data analysis and formulas.
Ability to communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Analyze the current Operation Plan to understand manpower requirements by production volume and model mix.
Document the planning process including inputs, assumptions, calculations, and decision points.
Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and usability of the Operation Plan through data analysis and process improvements.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate findings and develop improvement recommendations.
Present project findings and business impact to manufacturing leadership.
