JTEKT Column Systems NA is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to assist the Production Control Manager in forecasting, scheduling, and coordinating material flow across departments. You will interact with customers, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely ordering/releases to support production needs.

The role requires strong communication, math aptitude, and detail orientation, with preference for an associate degree in production management and three years in a production control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong math abilities and attention to detail.
• Associates degree in production management preferred.
• Three years’ experience in a production control environment.
• Experience with PC and mainframe systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication across departments and with suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Work under the Production Control Manager to help provide correct forecasts.
• Provide departments with schedules as directed by the Production Control Manager.
• Communicate with customers as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels through timely ordering/releases.
• Collaborate with production to address control issues and meet needs.
• Keep accurate inventory records manually or computerized.
• Expedite materials as required.
• Analyze MRP requirements and adjust purchase orders accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
