Job summary

JTEKT North America is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage customer inventory and demand requirements. The role emphasizes monthly sales projection, MRP review, and close collaboration with the demand planning team to ensure forecast accuracy.

This remote position requires occasional travel to Greenville, SC for monthly meetings and coordination with the corporate office. The ideal candidate has purchasing/inventory management experience, strong communication, and solid analytical skills,

Responsibilities

• Project monthly sales for assigned customers.
• Review MRP reports and plan accordingly.

• Maintain detailed customer information for planning/forecasting.
• Manage customer and/or material changeovers (POCP).
• Forecast and shipment data creation/analysis.
• Maintain inventory and control slow-moving stock to budgeted levels.
• Ensure forecast accuracy and collaborate with demand planning.

Note: This is a level 305 position. The role is remote but must live in a commutable distance to come to the office at your own expense for monthly meetings.

Summary/Purpose

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing specific customers inventory and demand requirements.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

• Project monthly sales for assigned customers.
• Review daily, weekly and monthly reports related to material requirements planning.
• Analyze, review and determine material requirements and change orders required.
• Create and maintain detailed customer information for planning and forecasting processes.
• Manage customer and/or material changeovers. Complete POCP (Phase out documentation/process).
• Create and analyze customer forecast and shipment information as needed.
• Maintain inventory and slow-moving stock to budgeted levels.
• Analyze customer forecasts and maintain forecast accuracy to assigned targets.
• Collaborate with demand planning team to ensure accuracy of bi-annual business plan load into Demantra.
• Complete bi-annual purchase forecasts for all finished goods Suppliers.
• Ensure that critical items are escalated in a timely manner and 100% of ESA’s (Express Shipment Authorization form) are issued according to JNA policies. Expedite shipments when necessary.

• Minimum 3 years' experience required
• APICS Certification preferred
