JTEKT Column Systems North America is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Hopkinsville, KY. The role focuses on coordinating and supporting all logistics activities for both facilities, including rate negotiations and carrier management.

You will work under the Production Control Manager, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate records, and cost-effective transportation solutions while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. The position is full-time with standard hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate transportation rates (Domestic and International) for both facilities.
• Approve freight bills and coordinate with 3rd party logistics groups.
• Analyze supply chain data and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with logistic providers and suppliers.
