Job summary

Prysmian Group in Lexington, SC is seeking a Production Control Specialist to design, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for on-time delivery and quality.

You will lead continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, supervise staff, and collaborate across Process Unit Manager, Process Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to maximize throughput and efficiency in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience in Operations, Production Control, Scheduling, or Process Optimization.
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft excel and production reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and streamline Manufacturing workflow to reduce cycle time, minimize waste, and improve throughput.
• Lead Kaizen events and root cause analysis for process deviations.
• Monitor Production Schedules to align with customer orders and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to resolve raw material constraints and maintain OTD.
• Monitor KPI’s such as OEE and production efficiency, and report findings.
