Job summary

Prysmian is a global leader in energy and telecom cables. The Production Control Specialist will design, optimize, and maintain production processes to maximize efficiency and ensure On Time Delivery.

The role drives continuous improvement, leads Kaizen events, and collaborates with Process Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain across a 24/7 operation. Key responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, scheduling, resource allocation, and developing direct reports toward a Process Unit Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in Operations, Production Control, Scheduling, or Process Optimization.
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Design, optimize, and maintain production processes to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Lead Kaizen events and monitor KPIs across teams.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to resolve production issues.
  • Supervise direct reports with a path to Process Unit Manager.
