Precision Castparts in Cleveland, OH is seeking a co-op student to work on production planning and inventory management. The role provides hands-on experience across multiple manufacturing areas, including injection, kiln, inspection, dip operations, and quality/shipping.

You'll review the production plan, maintain lean inventory of raw materials, generate reports, and escalate disruptions to the appropriate engineer or Production Control Manager.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of related discipline functional and technical skills.
• The employee will need to be detail-oriented and have a must-win attitude in order to succeed in our process.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access
• Good writing skills and interpersonal skills
• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident

Responsabilités

• Daily review of production plan and inventory position to ensure that the right jobs are being moved through operations in accordance with monthly ship plan.
• Planning inventory management to help maintain a healthy, and lean level of inventory for raw materials and supplies (rods, foams, etc.)
• Co-op will generate and use reports to identify and handle disruptions by escalating to appropriate engineer or Production Control Manager.
