Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is offering a part-time co-op role in California for engineering students.

The position runs ~20 hours per week with weekend work available, under Operations Management, supporting New Product Development and process control initiatives. You'll apply classroom knowledge to hands-on projects, identify process improvements, attend trainings, and develop specifications with a project team.

Qualifications

• Apply principles learned in school to hands-on situations in process and precision investment castparts production.
• Accomplish performance goals and take on progressively more responsibilities in process and/or production.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for projects.
• Attend departmental meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities.
• Perform or review systems analysis, testing, and documentation for existing processes.
• Participate on project teams to develop requirements and specifications with the team.

Responsibilities

• Work within specifications to meet project goals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Hard Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, CS)

Enrolled in accredited residential college

Freshman year completed
