Job summary

BonnaVilla, a brand of Chief Industries, based in Aurora, Nebraska, seeks a full-time onsite team member to perform roof preparation, roof set, and drain vent line installations in homes. The role requires reading blueprints, handling various tools, and working in hot, dusty environments.

Cross-training to assist other areas is encouraged. Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or GED and have construction experience with construction tools.

Qualifications

• Requires the reading of a tape measure 1/16 in.
• Construction experience and the use of construction tools is required.

Roof prop, roof set and preparation and installation of drain vent lines into and out of the roof cavity of the home in accordance with required specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform the required procedures of roof prep, roof set and preparation and installation of drain vent lines into and out of the roof cavity of the home.
• Basic understanding of blueprints and production orders.
• Be able to work in a hot and dusty area.
• Must be able to cross train and help other areas as needed.
• Use staple and nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, hoists and other equipment as required by the specific job.

Education:

• High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
