Job summary

Conagra Brands in Saint Elmo, Illinois is seeking an entry-level production operator to support syrup, sauce, and dressing production lines. You will be trained on assigned positions, perform safety, quality, and productivity tasks, and help ensure a clean, efficient operation.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of machine troubleshooting or related experience, basic data entry skills, and a willingness to work overtime.

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PMHourly Rate: $21.13 an hourReporting to the Team Leader, you will support production operations within the Syrup, Sauce, and Dressing departments at our St. Elmo, Illinois manufacturing plant. You will be trained on assigned positions and are expected to understand and perform all job responsibilities to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production in a team-based manufacturing environment.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies related to safety, quality, food safety, and productivity
• Monitor and operate assigned processing and packaging equipment
• Complete required checks, documentation, and data entry accurately and legibly
• Supply production lines with raw materials, cartons, bottles, ingredients, and other operating supplies
• Ensure proper first in, first out rotation of materials
• Perform equipment changeovers
• Complete all responsibilities of the assigned position, including trash removal and sanitation activities as requested
• Work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team environment

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• 1+ years of machine troubleshooting experience
