Job summary

Purple is seeking a Production Laborer to join our manufacturing team and help ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor. You will operate machines, perform changeovers, train others, and document training progress within our systems.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and about 1 year of manufacturing experience; lean/5S knowledge is a plus. Overtime may be required, with benefits and a pathway to growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing processing and/or assembly areas preferred.
• Prior experience conducting training in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic lean principles and 5S knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety rules and regulations.
• Operate machines, perform changeovers, and assist with troubleshooting.
• Document training on training records and matrices.
• Update Line Manager on training progress and completion.
• Maintain data reporting in Purple proprietary software systems.
• Assist with line changeovers and shift-to-shift handoffs.
• Promote continuous improvement and support quality targets.
