Job summary

Purple Innovation, LLC is hiring a Production Manager for a Thursday-Saturday shift (7a-730p) to lead daily manufacturing execution. You will partner with Line Managers to achieve safety, quality, throughput, cost, and uptime goals while maintaining an engaged team.

The role requires Lean principles expertise, 2+ years on a production line, and strong data-driven decision skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least two years managing a production line and team using Lean.
• Experience leading a large production team in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production principles and goal setting.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions based on performance data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to use production systems.
• Lean Manufacturing certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and 5S certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing execution to meet safety, quality, throughput, and cost goals.
• Set staffing plans and manage shift performance and attendance.
• Drive continuous improvement through 5S and L2L initiatives.
• Monitor production metrics and report progress to leadership.
• Facilitate daily production meetings and coordinate with leaders.
