Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Production Cell Leader in Richardson, TX to lead a manufacturing cell within the OPS - Production area. The role requires supervising personnel, coordinating assembly activities, and ensuring product flow through the designated area.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with board assembly processes, soldering, and related QA practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and assembly environments.
• Understanding of board assembly processes and product flow.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot assembly equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead and problem solver, balances personnel and facilitates the movement of product(s) through designated area of responsibility.
• Monitors the conduct, performance and contribution of cell members.
• Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products.
• Monitors quantity and quality output and leads production or prototype team to meet group goals.
• Compiles data and generates reports on cell performance.
