Job summary

Celestica in Richardson, TX is seeking a Production Cell Leader 4 to drive cell performance in a fast-paced assembly environment. You will lead a team, supervise manual and automated assembly, soldering, testing and inspection tasks, ensuring throughput and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with additional coursework or certifications.
Foundational knowledge of board assembly processes and product flow.
Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment.
Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process and address them.
Strong communication with internal and external customers.
Ability to lead a team to high quality production under tight deadlines.
Proficiency with basic computer apps and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

Acts as lead and problem solver for the cell, balancing personnel and throughput.
Monitors performance and contribution of cell members.
Performs manual and automated assembly, soldering, testing and inspection tasks.
Monitors output quality and leads teams to meet goals.
Compiles data and generates cell performance reports.
