Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Production Cell Leader for the 2nd shift in Richardson, TX. You will lead a cell, supervise personnel, and ensure timely, high-quality product assembly and testing.

Responsibilities include hands-on assembly, soldering, testing, data reporting, and coordinating with internal/external customers. Strong leadership and communication are essential for meeting deadlines and quality goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by geography.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and problem solve; balance personnel and move products through the designated area.
• Monitor the conduct, performance and contribution of cell members.
• Perform manual assembly, operate automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, and inspection and repair of products.
• Lead production or prototype team to meet group goals and monitor output quality.
• Compile data and generate reports on cell performance.
• Possess foundational and leadership skills with appropriate technical abilities.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment.
• Identify and address problems in the assembly process or components.
• Work with team to achieve high quality production under tight deadlines.
• Utilize Word, Excel and documentation control systems.
