Job summary

Qualifications

• Pass an aptitude test covering basic math, directions and diagrams.

• Able to communicate effectively and follow written instructions.
• Basic computer literacy for production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools.
• Perform tasks in a steady-paced production environment and rotate positions as needed.
• Conduct quality checks and complete required documentation.
• Set up and operate various machines and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 6S principles.
• Use computers for production data entry and label creation.
• Operate material handling equipment and PPE as required.
• Attend shifts and work overtime as needed.

Donaldson Company, Inc., is seeking Production Associates to join their team in the Stevens Point, WI area! If you have experience in manufacturing or machine operator, we want to hear from you!

As a member of the Donaldson Company, you can expect:

• Excellent Compensation: Earn up to $46,600 your first year plus overtime! Hourly pay starts at $21.96/hr. (annual figure includes .45 cent shift differential for 2 nd and 3 rd shift schedules)
• Overtime Pay: Saturday overtime is paid at time in half and Sunday overtime is paid as double time!
• Full Benefits Package: Including Medical plans that cost is 85% covered by employer, dental, disability, 401k annual company contribution of 3%, with an additional match up to 4% if you contribute, 2 weeks of Vacation, $160 annual boot allowance, and safety glasses reimbursement!
• Thirteen (13) paid holidays including plant shut down from Christmas to New Years!

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools, following verbal and written instructions, including blueprints
• Perform a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day in a steady-paced production environment
• Conduct required quality checks and complete required documentation (e.g.., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports)
• Set ups and operates various machines and equipment
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles
• Use computer for production-related tasks such as data entry and creating labels
• Operates various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers
• Performs multiple tasks, and rotates from position to position as required in the production process
• Use appropriate PPE for the task assigned
• Regular attendance and ability to work overtime
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Successfully pass an aptitude test covering basic math principles, reading directions and understanding diagrams
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Able to use hand/power tools, measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
• Able to communicate effectively, and understand verbal and written instructions
• Basic computer literacy
