Job summary

Donaldson Company in Stevens Point, WI is hiring Assemblers to safely assemble sub-assemblies per specifications. The role includes setting up and operating machines, performing quality checks, and maintaining documentation.

Shifts are available (1st/2nd/3rd) with overtime potential and a modest shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Benefits include medical, dental, 401k, HSA, life/critical illness coverage, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and package components per instructions and drawings.
• Set up and operate machines or equipment across shifts.
• Perform quality checks and complete required logs and reports.
• Use computer for production-related tasks and labeling.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Rotates between tasks as needed in production.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and maintain attendance for overtime.

The Assemblers in Stevens Point, WI safely and efficiently assembles a variety of sub-assemblies according to customer requirements, print specifications, and production requirements. Responsibilities include assembling products, operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

1st & 2nd Shifts Available

1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM [Monday through Friday]

2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM [Monday through Friday]

3rd Shift Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM [Sunday through Thursday]

OT include Saturdays as needed.

Probationary training may be required on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM).

Pay Range: $21.96 to $23.55/hr. ($.45/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Roles Responsibilities

• Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools, following verbal and written instructions, including blueprints
• Perform a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day including set up and operate various machines, or equipment
• Conduct required quality checks and complete required documentation (e.g.., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports)
• Use computer for production-related tasks such as data entry and creating labels
• Operates various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers
• Performs multiple tasks, and rotates from position to position as required in the production process
• Use appropriate PPE for the task assigned
• Regular attendance and ability to work overtime

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Able to use hand/power tools, measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
• Able to communicate effectively, and understand verbal and written instructions
• Basic computer literacy

Preferred Qualification

• Previous work experience in a production or industrial environment
• Able and willing to learn new tasks and train in other positions
