Job summary

Danfoss Loves Park is seeking a Production Associate on the 1st or 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble components, operate forklifts and material handling equipment, perform quality checks, and rotate across areas to meet delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or 3 months of experience with Danfoss products.
At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
Valid Class C (or higher) driver’s license.
Comfort reading hydraulic and electrical schematics; familiarity with Microsoft Office, PLCs, and test stands.
Basic knowledge of quality tools like PPAP, 8D, PFMEA, and capability studies.
Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assemble components from start to finish, including set‑up, testing, and quality checks, ensuring every product meets Danfoss’ high standards.
Operate forklifts, tuggers, and hand trucks to safely move materials throughout the plant and keep production running smoothly.
Refill and deliver Kanban bins, handle various part numbers, and perform routine machine cleaning to maintain an efficient workflow.
Identify and report part shortages, inspect assemblies for quality, and support continuous improvement in the production process.
Rotate across production areas and take on cross‑functional tasks — including material handling — to meet evolving customer and business needs.
